Our goal is to have your visit be wonderful and be there to host you when you return.

Can you hold a rental for me for a few days, a week or until I decide?
As a rule we do not hold dates. Our rental agreements can be accepted electronically, via fax, we accept eChecks, take online booking and accept major credit cards to make our process convenient.
Is there high speed WIFI?
Every single rental in our inventory has free WiFi.
Does our unit have laundry?
Are linens & towels included in the vacation rental fees?
All vacation rentals have sheets for every bed & sofa bed, bath, pool or beach towels, hand and face towels, and kitchen linens.
How much money is due and when?
100% is due upfront in order to reserve dates.
We are very neat people; can we clean the rental ourselves and skip the normal cleaning fees?
No. We ensure that each guest has the best vacation rental experience possible. That means we take full responsibility for cleaning. We ask that guests gather the linens, wipe up, and put out the trash as outlined in the Welcome Letter.
What is your cancellation policy?
Strict cancellation policy. No refunds provided.
You state a 3 (or more) night minimum, will you make an exception?
That depends: on the season, the unit, the availability, and the circumstances. Please feel free to inquire.
Can we smoke on the balcony, the patio with the windows open?
No. All units offered by Solana Beach Vacations are strictly non smoking. Smoking is never allowed anywhere on any of our properties. Some of the locations also enforce no smoking policies on their grounds. Smoking in a unit is cause for immediate eviction and forfeiture of your deposit.
Are you vacation rentals handicap accessible?
That depends on the unit and your needs. Please inquire. We’ll do our best to put you in a unit that will suit your needs.
Can we have an early check in or a late departure?
That depends. During the height of the season, no; back to back rentals require a tight schedule from our crews. At other times we may be able to arrange something ahead of time for a small fee. Fees are used to compensate the people who do the work to prepare your vacation rental – to adapt their schedules or hire more help. HOWEVER, please do not call for early arrivals & late departures on the day of arrival or departure at your vacation rental. We will not be able to accommodate you, & you will be charged an extra day’s rent for late departures.
Will you consider a small dog / declawed cat / well behaved hairless dog / etc?
If a vacation rental is pet friendly, then our advertisement and listing will say so.
Do I have to pay the tourism fee or hotel tax; I saw listings on vrbo that do not collect tax?
Yes. In order to insure that our vacation rentals adhere to all Tourism Districts, City, County, Hotel and Business tax and license requirements we comply to the letter of the law.
