The space

Charming Guest House, with private entrance and exit in Solana Beach, Full Kitchen with Stove, Oven, Fridge and Vintage Claw Foot Tub/ Outdoor Shower. Solana Beach and Del Mar Race Track/ Fairgrounds, Legoland, Zoo, Sea World, San Elijo Lagoon. Best Weather San Diego has to offer. Walk to 50 restaurants, grocery stores and bars. 15 minute walk to Train/Coaster, get anywhere in San Diego on the train. One mile to beach fun at Fletcher Cove, Pillbox, or Cardiff State Beach. Located conveniently west of I-5, we do get some freeway noise. It doesn’t bother most people but we do want you to know. There is plenty of off street parking and the cottage perched on a hill in the back yard. You do need to walk up a staircase to get to the private cottage. This isn’t an issue for most of our guest but if you are elderly or have a difficult time navigating stairs, you may want to consider an alternate place to stay. If you need help bringing in suitcases etc and I am around, I am happy to help!

Interaction with guests

Very little if any. There is a private entrance so guest can come and go at their leisure.

Other things to note

Rustic Cottage- Not a hotel. Although we have made several recent upgrades- granite counter tops, new tile flooring, curtains, shower, new cups and flat ware- we want our guest to understand that we are not a hotel- we will do everything we can to accomodate request while you are here so if you need something do not be shy to ask.
